The City Administrator is appointed by the City Council and serves, at its pleasure, as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City.
The responsibilities of the City Administrator include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the City
- Provide advice and information to City Council to assist with informed decision-making
- Carrying out ordinances and policies adopted by City Council
- Leading and directing City departments and personnel
- Preparing, submitting, and executing the annual budget
- Management and control of the financial affairs of the City
- Overseeing strategic projects and initiatives
Lawrence Cutrone has served as the City Administrator for Bruceville-Eddy since December of 2025. Lawrence has a passion for our community and public service. He has over 10 years of experience in local government operations and is a committed member of the Texas City Management Association, serving as a member of the ethics committee.
